Kansas City Maker Faire
June 23, 2018

Robotics Evolution traveled over 1700 miles to Kansas City Missouri to visit our friend Michael Overstreet. We have seen Michael at Robogames in Plesanton CA where he has won a number of medals with his walking robots from Robotis sporting 3D printed parts. The Kansas City Maker Fair was held in Union Station, an active railway station. Over two days we had kids from 4 years old to 70 battling with LimitlessIQ's new robot Super Anthony. There were so many amazing exhibits with the flying circus drone races, costumes, Tesla coils, art and science in and around Union Station. At the end we were presented a blue ribbon of merit for the arena and robots. The sites along the drive were amazing too with stops in the salt flats, arches monuments, the mountains of Colorado and thunder storms over Nebraska.

We crossed through 9 states all together. We met people working on educational products we will partner with and had fabulous barbaque. We got home just in time to start preparing for the next Maker Faire.

Rocklin Mini Maker Faire
October 14, 2017

An amazing time was had by all at the Rocklin Mini Maker Faire! Adults and kids alike got to steer our robots through Mini Mech City and play soccer. Here was our narrative for the exhibit:

"Robotics Evolution is working to build a year round venue for robotics interaction. Play soccer or navigate our Mini Mech City with camera enabled first person view robots. Design and build robots in CAD. 3D print or mill your creations and compete against others. If you built a robot at camp or at school bring your robot to compete against others. All robots welcome!"

This is the beginning of appearances we will be making at Maker Faires in an around the country!
